Ester Cured Alkaline Phenolic Resin

Ester Cured Alkaline Phenolic Resin binder system consists of two parts: Part I Alkaline Phenolic Resin, Part II Organic Ester Curing Agent.

Characteristics
This binder system doesn’t contain harmful foundry elements: Nitrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus, etc., which is especially suitable for the production of steel alloys, carbon steel and ductile iron castings.
The binder system has second curing under high temperature and good thermo plasticity, which can reduce hot crack, veining, defects of steel and ductile iron casting, as well as improve the dimensional accuracy of the castings.
It produces very less harmful and irritant gas, and improves the working environment greatly.

How to use

Choose different curing agent according to different room temperature and sand temperature, adjust the addition rate of the curing agent (20-30% of the resin).
When the mixture preparation is finished, make the core or the mold immediately to keep the mixture from stiffening, worse fluidity and finally fail to use.

Packing and Storage
Pack in iron drum with 230kg net weight or IBC tank with 1000kg to 1200kg net weight.
Store the resin in well ventilated room with the temperature of 5℃-25℃, as its viscosity will go up with the temperature and storage time increasing.
Curing agent is the flammable substance. Do not mix it with resin during handling, using and storage.
Keep away from fire source and heat source, get shockproof.
When work with this binder system, wear labor protection appliance. If contact with it accidently, wash with clean water immediately and seek medical care if necessary.
