Moisture proof method of graphite crucible

In today's rapid development era, graphite crucible is warmly welcomed by people, especially it can meet the personalized customization of consumers, and more and more fields are applied. How should graphite crucible be moisture-proof?

Please keep dry and ventilated when using graphite crucible. Because the graphite products affected by moisture have a very big impact on the quality, it will cause the following phenomena: falling bottom, bursting pieces, falling side, cracking, etc., resulting in the loss of molten metal, and even industrial accidents.

Graphite crucibles are hygroscopic and absorb moisture from the air and wet ground. It is suggested that the relative humidity of graphite crucible warehouse should be kept at 50-60%, and the temperature should be between 5 ℃ and 25 ℃. However, please do not put them directly on the brick soil or cement floor, which is easy to cause moisture. Because the glaze layer of graphite crucible is damaged when it is damped, its service life and melting efficiency are reduced, and even the bottom falls off. If wet graphite products are heated violently or come into contact with melted ground, cracking may occur.

Please put the graphite crucible in bulk on the wooden bracket (tray), and the suitable distance is 25-30cm. For the package packed in straw bags, wooden cases and wicker baskets, please pad sleepers under the cargo stack (it is better to lay a layer of linoleum on this pile), and the distance from the ground is not less than 20cm. After being placed for a period of time, these graphite crucibles must be stacked, and the lower layer should be placed on the upper layer. The better effect is that the upper and lower layers are inverted relatively. If the ground moisture is not big, the stacking should be done once every 3 months, but under normal circumstances, it should be done once every 2 months.
